This Asian mustard has large, deep purplish-red leaves with white veins that are thick, tender and deliciously pungent. Perfect for adding to your mixed greens or accompanying chicken dishes, these leaves are perfectly tolerant of the cool weather of spring and fall. The sturdy plants grow to about 2 feet tall, adding color and flavor to your harvest.

How to Grow:
In a sunny area with moist, well-drained soil, sow seeds in successive crops every two weeks from late April to early June, and again from late August to mid-September. Plant 1/2 inch deep and space seeds 1 inch apart in rows 18 to 24 inches apart. Thin seedlings to 8 to 10 inches apart once they are well established. Germination in about 45 days.
Advice :
Giant red mustard thrives in full sun to partial sun and withstands light frosts. Harvest young leaves for a mild flavor or wait until fully mature for a more intense taste.
