Do not sow until the soil has warmed to at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit. For a continuous harvest, sow every 10 days until mid-July. Water evenly, especially during flowering and pod formation. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers and handle plants only when leaves are dry to prevent disease. Germination occurs in about 8 days.
