Frost tolerance: Killed by the cold
Companion plants: Carrots, corn, cucumbers
Negative plants: Onions, leeks

Cultivation method:
Beans prefer light, organic, well-drained soil with a pH of around 6.5. Sow the seeds at a depth of 2.5 cm and space them 8 cm apart in rows 45 to 70 cm apart. Sow only once the soil has warmed to at least 16°C. For a continuous harvest, sow every 10 days until mid-July. Water evenly, especially during flowering and pod formation. Avoid fertilizers high in nitrogen and handle the plants only when the leaves are dry to prevent disease. Germination takes place in about 8 days.
