How to grow:
Sow directly outdoors in June, 6mm deep, in rows 60cm apart. Once established, space seedlings 20cm apart in the row. For tender, less bitter leaves, tie back large outer leaves to blanch inner leaves 7-10 days before harvest (ensure leaves are dry). Germination in 7-10 days.
