White clover seeds
Herbionik White Clover is a perennial legume designed for low-maintenance lawns and landscaping. Its low growth habit and adaptability to varying mowing heights make it an excellent complement to grasses. It provides flowering from June to October, encouraging pollinators and contributing to the site's plant diversity.
Particularly well-suited to fresh to slightly moist soils, it also tolerates dry periods and short mowing. Thanks to its root nodules, it fixes atmospheric nitrogen and incorporates it into the soil in an assimilable form, thus naturally improving the fertility of poor land. Its propagation by stolons effectively stabilizes surfaces prone to erosion.
How to use
- Prepare a level, debris-free and slightly loosened surface.
- Sow alone or mixed with lawn grasses.
- Cover very lightly to ensure good soil-seed contact.
- Maintain constant humidity until germination.
- Mow regularly to encourage a dense and uniform growth.
Composition: 100% coated white clover (34%). Polymer coating safe for bees.
Plants concerned
Suitable for mixed lawns, embankments, light undergrowth and poor soils requiring gradual improvement of structure and fertility.
Features and benefits
Nitrogen fixation
Naturally enriches the soil through root symbiosis, reducing the need for fertilization.
Prolonged flowering
Continuous flower production from June to October, which benefits pollinating insects.
Climate tolerance
Tolerates moderate drought, short mowing and soils with a pH ranging from 5.0 to 6.5.
Soil stabilization
Propagation by stolons helps to limit erosion on embankments and sloping terrain.
