The Horned Melon or African Maïsu Cucumber (Cucumis metuliferus) from the seed company Gaia is an exotic and fascinating annual plant, known for its unique fruits with spiny skin and juicy flesh.
This climbing variety reaches about 1 to 2 meters in height and produces oval fruits, measuring between 10 and 15 cm in length. Their thick green skin, decorated with thorny horns, contains a translucent green flesh, soft and slightly sweet, with notes of cucumber, banana and watermelon.

Regular, moderate watering is essential, without soaking the soil.
