The fruit matures from waxy yellow to bright red, adding a beautiful palette of colours to your garden. Ideal for frying and perfect for pickling, this chilli is also suited to cooler climates, offering excellent fruit set even in moderate weather.

Cultivation method:
Sow indoors between mid-February and late March in a soilless mix. Bury seeds 1/4 inch (6 mm) deep and maintain a temperature of 70°F (21°C) for optimum germination in 10 to 20 days. Grow on in bright light at temperatures of 60°F (16°C) to 70°F (21°C). Once hardened off, transplant outdoors in late May to early June in well-drained soil in a sunny location. Space plants 12 inches (30 cm) apart in rows 24 inches (60 cm) apart. Water regularly and avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers. Harvest chillies at different stages of maturity to vary flavours and textures.
