Hydrangea arborescens 'Invincibelle Limetta' is a compact, hardy (zone 3–8) shrub prized for its large, globe-shaped inflorescences. In early summer, its flowers appear lime green, then lighten to soft white, before turning an elegant jade green. Growing to 91–120 cm (3–4 ft) tall and wide, it is ideal for beds, low hedges, borders, or pots. Very easy to grow, it requires well-drained soil, fertilizer in spring, and regular but moderate watering. Its high cold hardiness (to –40°C) and sturdy stems allow it to offer long-lasting blooms that attract butterflies and withstand deer grazing, while remaining low-maintenance.
