Panicle Hydrangea ‘Little Lime’

‘Little Lime’ Panicle Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata ‘Little Lime’). Hydrangea paniculata ‘Little Lime’® is a compact and very popular shrub hydrangea, recognized as the dwarf version of the famous ‘Limelight’. This variety is distinguished by its dense, conical panicles, opening a bright lime green before evolving to creamy white and then soft pink hues at the end of the season. Its overall habit is compact, upright and well-branched, with a balanced silhouette slightly taller than it is wide, making it ideal for small gardens, foreground beds, structured borders, and container planting.

To plant ‘Little Lime’ panicle hydrangea, choose an appropriate exposure: sun to partial shade. The recommended soil is ordinary to rich, well-drained. Maintain regular moisture around the roots, as soil that dries out suddenly can cause the foliage to wilt. Avoid repeated pruning to artificially maintain a small silhouette; instead, choose a space suited to the variety's development. Water the root ball before planting and ensure that water can drain after planting. During establishment, check the moisture by hand before watering again.
