Hydrangea paniculata ‘Quick Fire’® is an iconic shrub hydrangea, known for being one of the very first paniculata varieties to bloom. This variety is distinguished by its elegant conical panicles that appear as early as the beginning of summer, opening creamy white before quickly turning pink, then a strong reddish-pink by the end of the season. Its overall habit is upright, dense, and well-structured, with a silhouette noticeably taller than it is wide, making it ideal for background plantings, flowering hedges, and specimen plantings. Like all Hydrangea paniculata, ‘Quick Fire’® blooms on new wood, ensuring reliable flowering even after harsh winters. The medium green deciduous foliage highlights the rapid evolution of the floral colors and extends its ornamental interest until autumn. Very robust and consistent, it remains an essential reference in nurseries.
