Family Hydrangeaceae

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight’® is an iconic and very popular shrub hydrangea, known for its spectacular lime green blossoms and its great reliability in the garden. This variety is distinguished by its large, very dense conical panicles, which open a bright chartreuse green before evolving to creamy white and then pinkish hues at the end of the season. Its overall habit is upright, vigorous, and well-balanced, with a silhouette distinctly taller than it is wide, supported by strong stems that hold the flowers well. It is particularly suited for background plantings, flowering hedges, and specimen plantings. Like all Hydrangea paniculata, ‘Limelight’® flowers on new wood, guaranteeing abundant blooms every summer, even after harsh winters. The medium green deciduous foliage effectively highlights the luminous blooms and extends ornamental interest until autumn. Versatile, robust, and decorative, it remains an essential reference in nurseries.
