The predatory mites multiply in the sachet and disperse into the crop over several weeks. Predatory mites use their piercing mouthparts to extract the contents of their prey.

Application method

Hang sachets in sheltered places in the crop (avoid direct sunlight)

Hold the sachet by the cardboard strip at the top to avoid harming the predatory mites

Temperature, humidity, and optimal conditions

Amblyseius swirskii is most effective in a temperature range of 20 to 32°C (68 to 90°F). It is ineffective below 18°C (64°F). A. swirskii is sensitive to relative humidity below 60%.

Storage after pick-up

1-2 days. 12-14°C (54-57°F). In the dark, ensure sufficient ventilation to prevent CO₂ accumulation.

Important: Live organisms have a very short shelf life. Prepare the application site before pick-up.
