Lonicera × brownii 'Coral Star', known as 'Coral Star' climbing honeysuckle, is a vigorous ornamental vine highly valued for its bright blooms and long flowering period. This variety produces long, flexible stems that easily twine around trellises, pergolas, and fences, quickly creating a dense and decorative green screen. From early summer until early autumn, it is covered in an abundance of coral-red to orange tubular flowers with yellow centers, whose elongated shape particularly attracts hummingbirds and pollinators. Its slightly matte bluish-green foliage offers an elegant contrast to the vibrant flowers. After flowering, small decorative red berries may appear and attract birds. Very hardy and easy to grow, this vine thrives in ordinary, well-drained soil and prefers sunny locations.
