How to Grow:
Sow directly outdoors from mid to late May, or mid-August to early September, in a sunny site with average soil. You can also start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost, in biodegradable pots, as lovage does not transplant well. Plant 1/4 inch (6 mm) deep with 3 inches (7.5 cm) spacing, then thin to 24-36 inches (60-90 cm). Seeds germinate in 10-20 days at 70°F (21°C).
Versatile and easy to grow, lovage is a great culinary and eco-friendly addition. Its rustic charm and usefulness make it a must-have for any gardener.
