McKana Giant Columbine Seeds (Aquilegia x hybrid), offered by OSC Seeds
Stunning, long-spurred flowers up to 10 cm wide adorn these hardy 75 cm plants. Colors include white, cream, pink, purple, yellow, and red. Perfect as cut flowers or for brightening spaces from full sun to light shade. Hardy to Zone 2 with protection and Zone 3 unprotected.

Planting and Care:
For best results, chill seeds at 5° C for 3 to 4 days before sowing. Start indoors in a soilless mix, maintaining a temperature of 20-22° C for 21-25 days. Grow under lights at a cooler temperature before hardening off and transplanting outdoors. Alternatively, direct sow seeds in June or between August and September for the following year's blooms. Columbine prefers moist, lightly shaded soil but will tolerate full sun except in hot, dry climates. Space plants 30-45 cm apart and water regularly.
