Alpine Strawberry 'Mignonette' produces small, bright red, sweet and fragrant fruits from the first summer. These compact perennials grow in attractive mounds, ideal for borders, gardens or hanging baskets. Rewarding and easy to grow, this variety is a real treat for fresh fruit lovers. Prefers rich, well-drained soil in full sun for best yield.

How to grow:
To ensure good germination, cold stratify. Place the seed packet in a sealed bag in the freezer for 3 to 4 weeks. Then, allow the bag to warm to room temperature before opening. Sow in pots or trays, maintaining a soil temperature of 18 to 24°C. Germination may be slow (10 days to 6 weeks). Transplant to the garden after the risk of frost has passed, spaced 20 cm apart, or plant several seedlings in a hanging basket.
