Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Use a peat moss-based mix and maintain a temperature of 70-75°F for quick germination (7-14 days). Transplant the 1.5-inch seedlings into individual pots and lower the temperature to 60-65°F. Harden them off before planting them out in the ground in late May, spacing them 2 feet apart.
Tomatoes require direct sunlight, constant watering at the base, and mulching to conserve moisture and prevent disease.
