A long-day onion, perfect for regions with shorter growing seasons. The large, uniform bulbs have an attractive golden skin and a slightly flattened shape. The thin neck ensures optimum drying and excellent storage capacity. This variety offers strong resistance to downy mildew, basil fusarium rot and botrytis.

Seeds can be started indoors in February in a soilless growing medium and transplanted in spring. Sow directly outdoors from mid-April, 8-15mm deep, with 15mm spacing between seeds in rows 30cm apart. Thin to 5cm for cooking onions or 7.5cm for sweet Spanish types. Maintain regular irrigation and avoid water stress. Bend flower stalks to concentrate the plant's energy on the bulb. Germination takes place in 10-14 days.
