Description

Scirpus validus , also known as smooth rush or pond nutgrass , is a semi-aquatic perennial plant that is essential for landscaping the banks of ponds, natural ponds or water gardens. This native species with a slender vertical habit produces long, cylindrical blue-green stems that can reach 1.5 to 2 meters in height, ending in pale brown inflorescences in summer. It brings an elegant verticality and a natural touch to aquatic features.
