Its warm, slightly lemony aroma perfectly complements roasted meats , egg dishes, cheeses , shellfish , and grilled vegetables such as zucchini, eggplant, and mushrooms. A compact, perennial plant that is very attractive to bees , it reaches 15 to 30 cm in height and makes it an excellent choice for edible gardens and flowering vegetable patches.

Planting and maintenance:

Thyme becomes more aromatic in warm, dry weather.
