Family Fabaceae

The first commercially available Baptisia to combine indigo-blue flowers with golden-yellow foliage. The oval, ball-shaped leaves are borne on sturdy stems. In early summer, long spikes of indigo-blue flowers begin to appear, just above the foliage. This perennial makes a bright focal point in landscapes. Baptisia is easy to grow and thrives with little maintenance. Once established, the plants are very long-lived.
