Picea abies ‘Nidiformis’, known as Norway Spruce ‘Nidiformis’ or Bird's Nest Spruce, is a dwarf evergreen conifer with a spreading, flattened habit, characterized by its slightly depressed center resembling a nest. Its low, rounded silhouette makes it an excellent choice for rock gardens, flower beds, and foundation plantings. Its medium-green foliage, composed of fine, soft needles, forms a dense and regular mass all year round. Very hardy and durable, Picea abies ‘Nidiformis’ prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.
