Picea glauca 'Pixie Dust', also known as 'Pixie Dust' white spruce, is a highly decorative dwarf conifer renowned for the brightness of its new growth and its compact habit. This variety forms a small, dense, conical shrub that fits perfectly into rock gardens, dwarf conifer beds, and structured gardens. In spring, new shoots emerge in a very light creamy yellow hue that brightens the plant and contrasts beautifully with the mature bluish-green foliage. This soft coloration evokes shimmering dust, hence its name 'Pixie Dust'.
