Trap designed by Bioprotec to capture the codling moth (Cydia pomonella). This set consists of a specific shell or bag, to be used with a pheromone lure to be inserted separately. This trap allows for effective monitoring and trapping in orchards, without the use of chemicals.
Uses
Install 1 trap per tree or every 5–10 m in the orchard, as soon as the codling moths first fly in spring.
Insert a specific pheromone lure (sold separately) inside.
Hang at foliage height, in areas protected from rain.
Check the catches daily and replace the collection bag or shell as soon as it is full, or every season.
