Medium pumice is a natural mineral substrate made of volcanic rock, similar to fine pumice but with a larger grain size. It offers a good compromise between aeration and moisture retention, ideal for plants that require moderate drainage.
Uses: Medium Pumice is perfect for mixing into plant substrates that require moderate drainage. It can be used for cuttings, as well as as an amendment in any soil mix to improve soil structure.
Recommended plants: Cacti, succulents, tropical plants, bonsai.
Properties :
- Mid-rise, providing a balance of ventilation and moisture retention
- Less suitable for small plants and seedlings due to its size
