Pinus mugo 'Pesto', known as 'Pesto' Mugo Pine, is a compact dwarf conifer prized for its dense, regular habit and very tight, dark green foliage. This variety forms a small, rounded shrub, creating a structured plant mass ideal for rock gardens, dwarf conifer beds, and alpine gardens. Its short, sturdy needles produce a rich, uniform texture that remains ornamental all year round. Thanks to its slow growth and naturally compact silhouette, it maintains its shape for a long time without requiring significant pruning.
