Prunus cerasus 'Crimson Passion' is a compact, hardy and very productive sour cherry tree, renowned for offering some of the sweetest fruits in the series of cold-hardy dwarf cherry trees. Its dark red, juicy and tart sour cherries are ideal for jams, pies, jellies or even fresh consumption. Its abundant and decorative white spring blossoms precede the appearance of green foliage that turns beautiful yellow hues in the fall, adding ornamental interest. Thanks to its bushy habit and moderate height, it easily integrates into family orchards, fruit hedges or urban edible gardens. Self-fertile and undemanding, 'Crimson Passion' offers regular production even in harsh climates, adapting perfectly to Quebec conditions with minimal maintenance and maximum flavor.
