How to Grow:
Grow similarly to head lettuce. Direct sow every 2 weeks from April to mid-June in cool weather. Plant seeds 3 mm deep, spaced 2.5 cm apart, with rows 40 cm apart. Thin seedlings to 30 cm to allow proper head formation. Keep soil evenly watered to prevent bolting and bitterness. Fall sowing can be attempted mid to late August. Germination occurs in approximately 10 days.
