Rhododendron 'Cunningham's White'

FamilyEricaceae

Rhododendron 'Cunningham's White', known as 'Cunningham's White' rhododendron, is an evergreen ornamental shrub highly valued for its elegant blooms and great adaptability in the garden. This vigorous variety forms a dense, rounded bush that integrates perfectly into shrub beds, foundation plantings, and woodland gardens. In spring, the shrub produces large inflorescences composed of pure white flowers with a slight yellowish to greenish blotch in the throat. This luminous bloom creates a refined contrast with its thick, glossy dark green foliage, which remains decorative all year round. Renowned for its hardiness, this rhododendron tolerates slightly less acidic soils relatively well compared to many other varieties. However, it prefers well-drained soils rich in organic matter and thrives ideally in partial shade.
