Cultivation method:
Beans grow best in light, well-drained soil with a pH around 6.5. Sow after the soil has reached at least 60°F, 1 inch deep and 3 inches apart. Space rows 18 to 28 inches apart. For a continuous harvest, plant every 10 days until mid-July. Maintain even watering, especially during flowering and pod formation. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers to limit excess foliage, and reduce disease risk by avoiding handling wet plants. Germination in about 8 days.
