Weeping pussy willow 'Pendula' (Salix caprea 'Pendula'). Salix caprea 'Pendula', or weeping pussy willow, is a small grafted tree with a very pendulous habit, forming an elegant and structured dome-shaped silhouette. In early spring, well before the foliage appears, it becomes covered with large, silky, silvery-grey catkins that turn golden yellow when mature: a highly prized ornamental effect, especially in male cultivars like this one.
