This classic mustard variety produces tall, upright plants with finely cut, deeply ruffled leaves of a bright medium green. Perfect for spring or fall repeat harvests, it grows quickly to a height of 20 to 40 inches. Awarded All America Selections in 1935, this mustard offers a slightly pungent flavor, ideal in salads or cooked vegetables.

Spread: 30 to 50 cm.
Plant height: 50 to 100 cm.
Quantity per pack: Approximately 500 seeds.
Companion plants: Spinach, lettuce, peas.
Enemy Plants: No notable enemies.

How to Grow:

Sow directly in the garden in early spring or mid-August. Sow 8-15mm deep, with 2.5cm spacing between seeds and 60cm between rows. Thin out to a hand's width to allow plenty of room for growth. Thinnings can be used as baby salad greens. Water regularly to encourage vigorous growth, particularly in dry weather. Germination takes about 10 days.

Advice :

Giant curly mustard prefers full sun, but can tolerate light shade. Harvest in 50 to 55 days for young, tender leaves, or let grow for a more pronounced flavor.
