An excellent white bunching onion well suited to northern growing areas. The bulbs are round, medium sized and strong with a thin delicate skin. The flesh is white, fine grained and sweet. An excellent direct seeding variety as they mature very quickly. A good keeper. Suitable for areas where the weather tends to move quickly between hot and cool during the summer.

Seeds can be started indoors in February in a soilless medium and transplanted in spring. Sow directly outdoors from mid-April, 8-15mm deep with 15mm spacing between seeds. Thin to 5cm for cooking onions or 7.5cm for sweet Spanish types. Onions prefer a sunny location and fertile, well-drained soil. Lay the flower stalks down to direct energy into the bulb. Germination in 1-2 weeks.
