Cultivation method:

Seeds can be started indoors in February in a soilless medium and transplanted in spring. Sow directly outdoors from mid-April, 8-15mm deep with 15mm spacing between seeds. Thin to 5cm for cooking onions or 7.5cm for sweet Spanish types. Onions prefer a sunny location and fertile, well-drained soil. Lay the flower stalks down to direct energy into the bulb. Germination in 1-2 weeks.

The availability of our seeds varies depending on seasonal availability, production schedules and supplier inventory. Certain varieties may only be offered for a limited time based on their natural growth cycle, sowing period or available stock.
