Spiraea japonica ‘Lemon Princess’, commonly known as Japanese Spiraea ‘Lemon Princess’, is a compact, deciduous shrub with a rounded, dense habit, valued for its bright foliage and abundant summer flowering. Its new shoots emerge lemon yellow in spring, then transition to chartreuse to light green in summer, maintaining a beautiful brightness in the garden. From late spring to summer, it produces flat corymbs composed of small, deep pink flowers that are melliferous and very attractive to pollinators. Ideal for borders, rockeries, or low beds, it tolerates spring pruning well, which encourages more generous blooming.
