Description

Spiraea japonica 'Magic Carpet' is a vibrant cultivar that offers a veritable carpet of color from spring to fall. Its coppery-red foliage at bud break turns golden yellow in summer and then orange in fall. Its bright pink flowers contrast beautifully with the bright foliage. Very compact and dense, it is ideal for low borders, rock gardens, and small sunny spaces. Very hardy, easy to maintain, and visually striking, it is ideal for colorful and evolving compositions.
