Popular in traditional cooking and known as Bohnenkraut, it’s a must-have for lovers of authentic flavors.

Cultivation method:

Sow directly into the ground from mid-April to late May in well-drained soil in full sun. Plant seeds 1/4 inch (6mm) deep and space 1/4 inch (6mm) apart, then thin to 8-12 inches (20-30cm) once the plants have germinated. Avoid transplanting as this herb does not like its roots disturbed. Harvest just before flowering, cutting back the plants to encourage new growth.
