Symphoricarpos × chenaultii 'Brin de Soleil'
Symphoricarpos × chenaultii 'Brin de Soleil', commonly known as 'Brin de Soleil' coralberry, is a deciduous shrub with a spreading, ground-covering habit, prized for its bright golden foliage and excellent ground-covering capabilities. Its chartreuse to golden young shoots brighten up flower beds throughout the season, beautifully contrasting with its small, discreet but nectar-rich pink flowers that appear in summer. In late season, pale pink to lilac-pink berries form along the branches, adding decorative autumnal interest. Very hardy and vigorous, it tolerates pruning and urban conditions well, making it an excellent choice for slopes, borders, or naturalized plantings. Symphoricarpos × chenaultii 'Brin de Soleil' prefers well-drained soil and a sunny to partially shaded exposure.
