Family Caprifoliaceae

Symphoricarpos × doorenbosii 'Pinky Promise', commonly known as 'Pinky Promise' snowberry, is a compact deciduous shrub with a rounded, dense habit, valued for its abundant and decorative late-season fruiting. In spring and early summer, it produces small, discreet, yet melliferous pinkish flowers, followed from late summer by numerous bright pink berries clustered along the branches. These spherical fruits persist long into autumn, adding color and texture to beds, borders, and low hedges. Its medium green foliage forms a dense mass that tolerates pruning and urban conditions well. Very hardy and adaptable, Symphoricarpos × doorenbosii 'Pinky Promise' prefers well-drained soil and a sunny to partially shaded exposure for optimal fruiting.
