Very productive , it grows abundantly on vigorous plants and produces throughout the season.

Cultivation method

Sowing : Start seedlings indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost , then transplant outdoors once soil is warm and night temperatures remain above 10°C . Soil and Location : Prefers rich, well-drained soil with compost . A full sun location is necessary for a beautiful blue color and optimum maturity.

Spacing and care : Plant 50-70 cm apart to allow good air circulation. As this is an indeterminate variety, it requires staking or trellising to support its upright growth and facilitate harvesting. Watering : Keep the soil slightly moist , avoiding overwatering. Mulch at the base of the plant helps to conserve moisture and protect against certain diseases.

Harvest : Ready in about 75 days . Fruits turn from dark blue to deep red when ripe. They peel easily when ripe.
