The 'Liana' climbing green bean (Liana asparagus bean) is a very productive and early variety, renowned for its long, thin, uniform beans of a vibrant green . Its texture is tender , its flavor mild , and the pods remain slender even when slightly overripe, making it a forgiving and popular variety among gardeners.

Farming method

The 'Liana' climbing green bean prefers full sun and light , warm , well-drained soil. Sow directly outdoors once the soil temperature reaches 16°C or higher , as beans do not like cold, damp soil.

Install supports , trellises , poles or a rope system to allow them to climb up to 2 meters. Sow in clusters of 4 to 6 seeds or in rows spaced 30 to 40 cm apart.

Water regularly until flowering, then reduce watering slightly to prevent flower drop. Frequent harvesting encourages continuous and abundant production.
