Its long, arching stems are covered in spring with melliferous pinkish-white bell-shaped flowers, beautifully contrasting with the young green foliage tinged with purple. In summer, it produces an abundance of firm, juicy, dark blue, almost black blueberries with a well-balanced sweet flavor and a slight tart note.
