Vitis ‘Canadice’, commonly known as the ‘Canadice’ grape vine, is a red seedless table grape variety appreciated for its sweet flavor and good cold hardiness. Its vigorous climbing habit, with strong tendrils, allows it to cover trellises, pergolas, and fences in full sun, while creating a dense vegetative screen with its bright green deciduous foliage that turns yellow in autumn. It produces medium-sized, well-filled clusters of pinkish-red grapes with thin skin, containing crisp, juicy, and very sweet flesh, with a delicate, slightly fruity taste, and no seeds, ideal for fresh consumption and snacks. Early-ripening, it matures towards the end of summer, even in short seasons.
