The 'Cayuga' vine is a hybrid variety bred at Cornell University, renowned for its productivity and versatility. It produces large clusters of golden-green grapes with a sweet, slightly muscatel flavor, ideal for table or winemaking. In wine, it produces aromatic, lively, and refreshing whites, sometimes sparkling. It exhibits excellent resistance to common grapevine diseases, making it very attractive to home gardeners and small producers.
