‘Interlaken’ Grape (Vitis ‘Interlaken’). Vitis ‘Interlaken’, commonly known as the ‘Interlaken’ grape, is an early-ripening table grape cultivar prized for its seedless green grapes and sweet flavor. Its vigorous, twining, climbing habit is perfectly suited for cultivation on trellises, pergolas, or fences in full sun. It produces medium-sized clusters of pale green to light yellow grapes with thin skins and tender, sweet, slightly fruity flesh, ideal for fresh consumption. Harvesting occurs early in the season, often in late summer. Its deciduous, bright green foliage forms a dense cover during the growing season and can take on golden hues in autumn.

To plant the ‘Interlaken’ grape, choose a suitable exposure: full sun. The recommended soil is slightly acidic to neutral, well-drained. Install the support before the stems become long and difficult to guide. Pruning for fruit production depends on the chosen training system. Clear the grape clusters without removing too much foliage, which nourishes the plant during their development. Water the root ball before planting and ensure that water can drain after planting. During establishment, check the moisture by hand before watering again. Spread mulch around the base, leaving the crown clear.

Allow a width of 3 m (10 ft) to organize the placement of this plant in the garden. The indicated height of 6 m (20 ft) helps choose its position relative to neighboring plants.
