Vitis 'Radisson'
Vitis ‘Radisson’, commonly known as ‘Radisson’ grape, is an extremely hardy hybrid grape variety developed for harsh northern climates. Its vigorous climbing habit, with twining tendrils, is easily trained on trellises, pergolas, or espalier systems in both home gardens and vineyards. It produces medium-sized clusters of blue-black grapes with thick skins, juicy and sweet flesh, offering an intense fruity flavor ideal for processing into juices, jellies, or light red wines. Maturity typically occurs in late summer. Its bright green deciduous foliage forms a dense canopy during the growing season and can color in the fall. Highly cold-resistant, Vitis ‘Radisson’ attracts pollinators and is an excellent choice for regions with severe winters.
