Moss Green curly parsley is an heirloom variety dating back to the mid-1800s, prized for its finely cut dark green leaves and richer flavor than plain parsley. Cultivation method:
To optimise germination, soak seeds in warm water overnight before sowing. Then sow 6 mm (1/4") deep in rows 40 cm (16") apart, keeping the soil moist and well mulched to prevent crusting which would prevent seedlings from emerging.
Be patient, as germination can take up to three weeks. Once the seedlings are well established, thin them to 10 cm (4") apart. Parsley appreciates rich, well-drained soil that is kept moist. Regular watering and good weeding will ensure it produces abundant and tasty foliage throughout the season.
