Cultivation method:

Sow directly in the garden in early May for an early harvest, in mid-June for an autumn harvest, or even in early July for tender young carrots at the end of the season. This variety prefers fairly rich, rock-free, deeply worked soil . Consistent moisture promotes straight, well-formed roots.

Sow at a depth of 6 mm , in rows spaced 40 cm apart , then thin to 5 cm . Mound soil around the plants as you go to prevent sunburn and greening of the crown . Plant in full sun or partial shade . Avoid fresh manure and nitrogen-rich green manures, which stimulate foliage growth at the expense of root development. Final height may vary depending on growing conditions.

Harvest :

Harvest when the roots reach the characteristic size of the variety. For optimal texture, harvest young ; left in the ground, they will continue to grow. Regular harvests ensure consistent quality.

Small, tender and irresistible!

With its natural sweetness , perfect size, and rapid growth, the organic 'Little Finger' carrot is ideal for quick harvests and a variety of uses, from fresh to preserves. A sure choice for combining simplicity, yield, and enjoyment in the vegetable garden.
