Cultivation method:
Sow indoors approximately 8 weeks before the last frost , maintaining a temperature of 20 to 25°C . Do not cover the seeds; press lightly into the substrate. Use a well-draining, porous seed-starting mix and maintain consistent moisture without overwatering.
Transplant after the risk of frost has passed into fresh, moist, and rich soil . When planting, loosen the soil to a depth of 30 cm , enrich with compost, then gently place the plant in the hole, slightly loosening the roots if necessary. Adding organic bone meal or a soil activator can stimulate root development. Water every 2 to 3 days until well established.
Maintenance and flowering:
Water regularly at the base of the plants throughout the season, being careful not to overwater. Remove faded flowers to prolong blooming and maintain a neat appearance. The Beacon™ series maintains dense, even blooms even in conditions prone to powdery mildew.
Reliable, durable and brilliant!
With its proven resistance to powdery mildew , its luminous two-tone blooms, and its ease of cultivation, the Impatiens Beacon 'Red and White' is the ideal choice for long-lasting and spectacular landscaping. A sure bet for bringing impatiens back into the garden, from spring until the first frosts.
