Cultivation method:
Fill a pot slightly wider than the disk (8 cm) with a light, well-drained potting soil. Place a seed disk on the surface of the soil, then cover it with a thin layer of vermiculite or potting soil. Water generously to moisten everything.
Place the pot in a sunny spot or under artificial light. Chives like slightly moist soil, so water regularly but not excessively. Once well-developed, they can be harvested by cutting the stems near the base, which will encourage rapid new growth.
