Pétchoa Caliburst™ Yellow F1 (Petunia sp. x Calibrachoa sp.), offered by the seed company WH Perron

The Caliburst™ Yellow F1 petchoa is an exceptional innovation: the first petchoa available from seed! The result of a hybridization between petunia and calibrachoa, this variety combines the vibrant color of calibrachoa with the cold hardiness and short-day flowering of Wave® petunias. Easy to grow, Caliburst™ is distinguished by its abundant blooms and vegetative-like growth habit, while offering the flexibility of seed.

Germination : 7 to 10 days
Sowing temperature : 20 to 25 °C
Height : 15 to 25 cm
Spread : 50 to 70 cm
Color : Yellow

Latin name : Petunia sp. x Calibrachoa sp.

Cultivation method:

Sow the seeds indoors approximately 11 to 14 weeks before the last frost. Use a light potting mix and maintain a temperature of 20 to 25°C (68 to 77°F) to ensure good germination. The seeds need light to germinate, so avoid covering them with soil. Once the seedlings have developed a few true leaves, transplant them into individual pots. After the risk of frost has passed, transplant the plants outdoors to a sunny location. Water regularly, but not excessively, and fertilize with a balanced fertilizer to encourage continuous flowering.

With its vibrant shine and exceptional durability, Pétchoa Caliburst™ Yellow F1 is ideal for brightening up your containers, hanging baskets and flower beds throughout the summer season.

The availability of our seeds varies depending on seasonal availability, production schedules and supplier inventory.
