Cultivation method:

Sow directly into the ground as soon as the soil can be worked, at a depth of 2 to 3 cm, spacing the seeds 8 to 10 cm apart in the row and the rows 30 to 40 cm apart. Swiss chard prefers rich, well-drained soil and a sunny to partial shade exposure.

Water regularly to maintain consistent moisture and mulch the soil to reduce weeds and conserve moisture. To prolong the harvest, cut off the outer leaves as needed, leaving the young shoots for continued growth.

With its colorful stems and flavorful leaves, 'Bali Rouge' Swiss chard is an excellent option for gardeners looking for an ornamental and productive plant, perfect for enriching summer or fall dishes.
